This great city of ours never fails to disappoint when it comes to quirky activities. Over in the East End, you can relive childhood memories in a custom made play area for grown ups.

Aptly titled Ballie Ballerson, the venue has three mini lakes crammed with plastic orbs. One can be found right by the window. Here you can sink into a mixture of colours and have a laugh with mates. It is especially enjoyable in daylight.

For those who fancy more of a disco vibe, another pit can be found near the back of the venue. Party lights illuminate the room and shine through the clear spheres. Visitors can submerge fairly deep. So you'll no doubt have a laugh watching pals struggle to keep upright.

This pit can also be accessed by a separate VIP lounge. So if you fancy booking birthday or engagement celebrations, this could be a good option.

The final area is much smaller but can be booked for private parties. Meaning it'll be your own separate space away from the other fun seekers.

A key part of the enjoyment is that it combines fun from your childhood and adult world - Alcohol, good music and child like nostalgia.

The location especially becomes interesting at night. The lights go low, the music turns up and the whole place feels like a nightclub in a ball pool. Plus the bar serves a decent selection of beers, spirits, soft drinks and more.

Ballie Ballerson is easily one of the most interesting and enjoyable activities in London. And that's saying something considering the many quirky offerings near by. If you want my two cents, it's highly recommended.
