You like football right? And you like a round of golf? Well... OK, you know where this is going. Footgolf is a fun activity that is popping up around the world. As with many things, London has the slice of the action with this craze!

Up in the city's North West, residents can lace up and play 18 holes without the need of clubs. During my visit, the exercise took roughly 2 hours and felt easier than regular golf. In the traditional game, it can take a while to get into the swing of things (pun intended). Even making contact with the ball can feel like an achievement for some novices. Whereas kicking the ball may seem more natural.

The experience is more gravitated towards golf than footie. Dribbling and tackling isn't needed. The object is to simply complete a certain number of holes and stay under par. The balls are swapped for their larger soccer counterparts, are are the holes.
I found the venue to be a great location to try out the fun for yourself. It comes with the same hazards of a regular course (sandpits etc). One of the finer parts of the experience is the view of the London Skyline. All the key landmarks can be seen from here, particularly Wembley Stadium which is a short distance.

Footgolf is a simple idea but works - Really well! Take it from me - Horsenden Hill is a great setting due to mixture of challenging slopes and angles. The added beauty is the view of the city which is especially stunning at dusk.

The course has a restaurant and bar for you and mates to reward yourselves after a game. After all, it is thirsty work on a hot summers day. Party packages are available for both adults and juniors. It would be a decent choice when booking a stag do or a surprise for dad on Father's Day.
The combined sport is a good option to add to your London "to-do list" during the hot season.
