Football ain't what it used to be. I remember when seeing your first match with your dad didn't cost a mortgage and match day programmes were affordable. You could take in that sentimental experience and think "one day, I'm gonna show this to my kids".

But then the price to watch modern football happened. The dream of sharing the same fun with your kids felt a little more distant. Costing up to £100, spectating the men's Premier League games can seem a little pricey. If you ask me, you can't even think of going to a cup final without taking out a small loan.

But luckily there's an alternative and the female soccer stars are on the rescue. For just £15 you can soak up the Wembley magic at the Women's FA Cup Final. Children can go for free, meaning they too can treasure the memories of a Wembley Stadium experience.

Creating new nostalgic experiences for your family is achievable. New memories of Wembley Way, the pies, the smells, the chants, the goals and the elation are all yours and your kid's for a small price.

Is it worth watching?

In recent years lady's footie has been taking England by storm. Back in 2015 the Lionesses went further than their modern male counterparts and won bronze at the Women's World Cup. Since then fans have been flocking to top flight ladies matches across London.

I find watching the women's game is very enjoyable. The style of play is somewhat slower to what we see in the men's competition. But this makes for an interesting dynamic and highly entertaining football. The beautiful game doesn't begin and end with cup finals. For even cheaper prices of £3-£6, you and your family can cheer on London's 5 lady's teams all year around.
